Clarification Statement Issued by Iraqi Securities Commission Regarding Bank of Baghdad

With regard to what has been circulated on some electronic platforms concerning dollar transfers, Iraqi Securities Commission would like to clarify that Bank of Baghdad, one of the banks listed on Iraq Stock Exchange, has confirmed that this news is inaccurate and not based on official sources.

The bank affirmed its full commitment to the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and its continued provision of high-quality banking and financial services. It also called for obtaining information from official sources and ensuring accuracy in publishing, in order to preserve public trust and the reputation of the banking sector.

The Commission continuously monitors the integrity of information related to listed companies, in order to enhance transparency and trust in the market.
