The participation of Iraqi Securities Commission in the 20th annual meeting of the Board of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities

Mrs. Nagham Hussein Ismail, Vice Chairperson of the Commission participated on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission in the 20th Annual Meeting of the Council of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities, which was held virtually under the presidency of the Republic of Tunisia and with high-level participation that included heads and representatives of financial regulatory authorities in Arab countries in addition to the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities.

The meeting discussed several important topics, most notably the regulatory frameworks for cross-border financial activities, strengthening governance and cybersecurity and reviewing the Union’s strategic plan for the years 2026–2030 in addition to initiatives aimed at enhancing investment awareness.

The meeting concluded with the approval of the final accounts for the year 2025 and the review of future training plans contributing to strengthening the efficiency of regulatory personnel and the stability of Arab financial markets.
