Iraqi Securities Commission participates in the seminar under the slogan: Activating the executive quota towards fair representation of women in state institutions.

Under the patronage and presence of Ms. Shahbaa Al-Azzawi Head of the Iraqi Women’s National Team, member of the Supreme Council for Women’s Affairs and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Women’s Affairs, and under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Women’s Affairs – Iraqi Women’s National Team, a scientific seminar was held under the slogan: Activating the Executive Quota towards Fair Representation of Women in State Institutions.

The seminar was attended by Ms. Hanan Fares Ali, Head of the Women’s Rights and Community Development Division and member of the Iraqi Women’s National Team representing the Securities Commission.

The seminar focused on mechanisms for activating the executive quota in a way that contributes to increasing women’s representation in leadership and academic positions in pursuit of representational justice and the enhancement of government performance efficiency.

It also included presentations addressing strategic aspects and statistics related to the number of women and their representation rates in senior leadership positions.
